Fragrance-free specialist care for natural fibres and sensitive skin — at home and on the go.
The Yarn Food Sensitive Wash Bundle pairs our 500 ml Sensitive Wash with a 100 ml Sensitive Wash Mini, giving you the same pure, fragrance-free formula in two practical sizes.
Keep the 500 ml bottle at home for regular hand washing and use the 100 ml Mini for travel, weekends away, gifting, or simply keeping a second bottle somewhere convenient.
Sensitive Wash is our purest and simplest formula, with no added fragrance or essential oils and enriched with aloe vera. It is designed with sensitive skin in mind and is suitable for wool, cashmere, silk, cotton, linen and other natural fibres and blends.
It is particularly well suited to silk, where avoiding added fragrance oils helps preserve the fibre’s naturally smooth feel and lustrous appearance.
Together, the bundle provides up to 120 hand washes, based on 5 ml per 5 litres of soft water.

FAQs
Why does the water look darker after soaking my knit socks?
Please always test your yarns for colourfastness before washing. The natural cleaning agents in the formula will gently remove grime and dirt from your garment, which will be visible in the basin when you remove your item from the water. For very soiled socks, you can repeat the soaking process twice, or until satisfied with the outcome.
CAN I SOAK MY SOCKS FOR MORE THAN 20 MINUTES?
In most cases it is safe to soak your socks for longer than 20 minutes, however, we always recommend checking the care information of the yarn you’ve used and special requirements.
Can I use YarnFood in the washing machine?
Yes, you can use Yarn Food in the washing machine on a wool or delicate cycle. Add 15 ml, or 9 pumps, either directly into the machine or into the detergent drawer. Your garments will still be cleaned and fed, but some of the nourishment may be washed out in the rinsing process, which is why
the hand-wash and soak option is the preferred method for Yarn Food.
